The Port come up against Southern League side AFC Totton in the Hampshire Senior Cup at St Georges Park on Tuesday 20th September, 7:45pm KO.
This will again be a test for Andy Sampson’s team facing “The Stags” although AFC Totton will arrive at St Georges Park having only won 1 and drawn 1 in their last 7 games. Newport will go into the game with the least amount of goals conceded so far this season in the Sydenham’s Wessex League Premier Division.
The Port will be without Aiden Sainsbury having picked up an injury from Saturday’s game but if the lads can carry on where their left off from the weekends game against Blackfield & Langley FC then Newport will no doubt test an experienced Totton side.
Come and watch a great cup tie on Tuesday evening (20th), gates open at 7pm. The clubhouse bar will be open from 6:30pm with happy hour starting at 6:45pm. The snack shack will also be open for drinks and hot food.
