Newport IW FC will face Ventnor FC at St George’s Park on Tuesday 14th March for a 7:45pm kick off in the Quarter finals of the IW Senior Gold Cup.
This will be no easy contest for The Port facing Ventnor who sit 3rd in the IW Division 1 and have already secured a place in the Jubilee Cup Final.
The Port go into this fixture following an impressive victory over Bemerton Heath Harlequins on Saturday winning 2:0. This will give Andy Sampson’s team confidence looking to secure a semi final place and a step closer to retaining the IW Senior Gold Cup.
The Ports keeper Gary Streeter could be in doubt having picked up a rib injury from Saturdays game.
Gates open at 7pm. Entrance will be £4 for adults and £2 for concessions. Children U16 are free.
The clubhouse sports bar will be open from 6pm with all the build up to Champions League LIVE action on the BIG SCREEN from 7pm as Leicester City take on Sevilla.
