Tickets for Newport (IW) FC’s pre-season game against Portsmouth FC are on sale from MONDAY 26th JUNE.
Portsmouth FC will be travelling to the St Georges Park on Tuesday 18th July, 7pm kick off for a 10 year anniversary friendly against The Port’s first team. The Islands Pompey fans will be given the opportunity to see their stars in action on home soil with the game expected to draw a large crowd.
Newport (IW) FC played Portsmouth FC in the summer of 2007 in a pre-season friendly which saw a crowd of 3200 in St Georges Park.
How to purchase Newport (IW) v Portsmouth FC match day tickets:
Fans from both Newport IW FC and Portsmouth FC are advised to purchase match day tickets in advance of the day so as to avoid delays or disappointment with the limited number of tickets on sale.
Match day tickets for both Newport and Portsmouth fans can be purchased direct from Newport Football Club, St Georges Park, St Georges Way, Newport, IW.
Tickets will be available within the main clubhouse at Newport FC on;
Saturday 15th July – 2pm till 5.30pm
Monday 17th July – 10:30am till 3pm & 7:45pm till 9:00pm
Tuesday 18th July – 3pm till 6.30pm
Match day tickets on sale if still available on this date. Tickets can be purchased from the clubs ticket office, CASH ONLY, and not on the main turnstile gates.
Match day tickets can also be purchased over the phone at the above times.

Card payment will be taken over the phone and your match day tickets will either be posted to you by recorded delivery (additional cost) or retained for your collection on match day from the clubs ticket office. Email conformation of your purchase will be sent to you.
The cut off date for postage of match day tickets will be Thursday 13th July. All tickets purchased over the phone after this date will need to be collected from Newport IW FC prior or on match day.

Opening Times:
Newport FC’s clubhouse sports bar will be open from 3pm on Tuesday 18th July. Promotions on a variety of beers, wines and spirits will be on offer between 3pm and 5pm. Further drinks promotions will start from 9pm till 10pm after the game.
The turnstile gates into the main ground for all spectators will be open from 5pm. No entry into the ground will be allowed without a valid ticket. Tickets cannot be purchased at the turnstile gates on the day.
Car Parking:
There will be NO parking available at St Georges Park on match day unless you have a parking pass. Spectators are advised to walk to the ground or use car parks situated in Newport near to the ground. Please car share where possible for ease of traffic congestion and availability of parking nearby.
Car Park passes will only be available for disabled spectators and can be obtained in advance direct from Newport Football Club. Car park passes will not be posted with any purchased match day tickets.
Important match day information of note:
• NO flash photography
• NO food or drink allowed into the ground
• Security bag searches will be conducted on the gate upon entry
• NO entry into the ground without a valid ticket
• NO alcohol will be allowed in, or consumed within the ground
• Children Under 13 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times
• NO entering onto the playing area of the pitch at any time
• NO parking on site without a parking pass (available in advance)
• All spectators are to be respectful at all times, disorder or abusive behaviour will not be tolerated
