The Port travelled away to Petersfield Town today (18th) putting in an astonishing performance with a 6:0 victory and a well deserved 3 points to move Newport up a place in the league table to 20th.
Newport travelled without injured Emerson Tattersall with Scott Sampson being unavailable for today’s game.
The Port fielded a strong starting 11 seeing the return of Liam Triggs to his old club from Blackfield & Langley this week.

The second half started strongly again for Newport with Josh Younie bagging his second.
Charlie Urry saw the back of the net on 69 mins to make it 4 for The Port.
Substitution for Newport brought on Aurele Beya where again he immediately made his mark on the 81st min making it 5 for the away side.
The game was all over but one last goal came from Connor Kelly in the 88th minute to make it an outstanding 6 goals for Newport.
After the final whistle Assistant manager Andrew Rimmer said “The boys were outstanding today”.
