Newport return to football action on Tuesday night at home to Sholing in the Quarter final of the Sydenhams Wessex League Cup.
Having walked the pitch this morning (Sunday) I would expect the match to go ahead unless there is significant rainfall before Tuesday. (Forecast 35% chance of rain). All snow and ice gone, pitch has drained well aided by sun and wind. Surface is reasonably firm at present.
Kick off is at 7.45pm, come on down as the Port aim to reach the last 4 of the competition. Bar open 7pm.
On Saturday John Linnington’s reserve team are at home to US Portsmouth with a 3pm kick off.
