For the first time since 1938, Newport will not be taking part in the FA Cup this season.
Although the club have entered the competition, teams at step 6 level (Sydenhams Wessex 1) are limited due to space and entry is based on previous season league performance on a points per match basis.
To qualify we would have needed to finish on 67 points last year and therefore only the top 5 sides from last seasons Sydenhams Wessex 1 will be competing in the competition this year.
Our entry fee will be refunded. FA Vase entry is not affected.
