Andy Sampson will be leading the charge this season after his team was stopped in its tracks last season whilst unbeaten in 2020. The experienced manager has added Joe Butcher whilst retaining all of last seasons squad bar Lewis Wright. Andy is confident the squad can keep going fromwhere they left off and push for promotion this season.
Assistant Manager Stewart Shepherd returns to be alongside Andy in the dugout. Uefa B qualified coach Stew is also involved with Newport Youth teams and development of young players.
Physio Matt Ohren continues to look after our players. Matt is a fully qualified Physiotherapist working in the local NHS and we are proud to have him at Newport. We thank you Matt for the work you do not just for our team but the whole community.
