This Thursday evening (11th August) Newport FC Supporters Trust are holding an Open Forum at the Southern Vectis Club in Newport.
The evening will be a chance to meet the people behind the Supporters Trust and Club Officials and find out a bit more about what it is and how it works. Many people believe that being in the Supporters Trust means you have to volunteer at the club. There is no compulsion to do that. You can be a member of the Trust and not volunteer and you can volunteer without being a member of the Trust.
The Supporters Trust own 80% of Newport Football Club and every member has a vote to decide what the Trust (and Club) do.
We will also look at the proposals for the new ground at the Racecourse, the ownership and running of the site and a couple of slides about the clubhouse layout and 3g pitch installation.
The evening will be in the upstairs room at the Southern Vectis club, South Street, Newport. The Bar opens at 7.00pm and we shall kick off at 7.30pm.
