Newport v East Preston

The Port went down 2-0 to East Preston in their first friendly of the season.
The first goal coming after two minutes when a defensive misunderstanding allowed the East Preston centre forward to nip in and score with ease.
Both teams played entertaining football for the remainder of the half although East Preston were more in tune with each other,having already played a friendly.

Both sides continued to try and play good football in the testing conditions and both Managers will have been pleased with the good workout each side gave each other.
East Preston scored a second with a good move working the ball across the field and scoring with a smart strike from the edge of the box.
